Worxsaw set up and review
Overview
The Worxsaw is a cordless 20volt compact circular saw. It’s a part of the Worx Power Share system so if you’re already in the Worx power tool family you will have plenty of batteries. This compact little saw is fun to use and does a great job. The blade is 3 3/8 and the tool weighs in at 4.1 lbs so the light weight helps reduce fatigue and keep the project moving. Set up
The set up of the Worxsaw was simple, just three parts and one of those is optional. You have the saw blade, battery and the optional dust hose adapter. You slide in the blade, bold down and snap on the battery, now its ready to go. Can’t get any simpler than that to put something together.
Use
The only thing that stands out is an adjustment you will have to make when using the safety lever to put the saw into operation. With a regular circular saw the blade guard moves on it’s own as you move through the cutting service. You will manually pull the Worxsaw blade guard into operational mode. Once you get the hang of that operating the saw was simple and straight forward. Setting the depth of the worked well and was accurate with the cuts. The Worxsaw took Everything I threw at it and performed without issue. It comes with a hose adapter that can be attached to a vacuum system if working in the shop or an environment where you need to collect all debris.
Power/Battery Life
There was plenty of power to cut through materials and the battery life was great. The battery lasted for a complete project and never completely drained. Keep in mind is this an addition to your Worx family of tools you will always have a spare battery available.
Summary
This portable cordless circular saw is packed with the power to get the job or should I saw jobs done. Its small compact size adds versatility and comfort with a lightweight body that lets you continue to keep working.
